Project Description

World Fiber serves as the on-call fiber optic cable repair and maintenance company for Okaloosa County in Florida. Our contract corridor runs through the “high priority” district in the County. Our fiber optic cable specialists are immediately dispatched to the County should a cable become compromised. We are on-site within a few hours of the disruption to deploy temporary patch fiber to bring the communication lines back up. We then create a permanent splice enclosure and test the area for reliability. “High priority” cable lines connect the County’s hospitals, courthouses, schools, and rescue departments.
