Project Narrative

7.708 Miles of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) Installation on SR 400 World Fiber Technologies, Inc. has installed multiple advanced traffic management systems (ATMS) over the past decade. On this particular project World Fiber was responsible for installing the entire system from breaking ground to the 30 day burn. This project called for a conduit duct bank consisting of 4-2” HPDE conduits. Once the duct bank installation was complete we installed a total of 102 pull boxes. The duct bank then became the home to one 144 count fiber optic cable. This 144 count fiber optic cable will be used for the communications back bone. We will use this fiber to set up device communications for the traffic management center (TMC) downtown Atlanta. This network allows the TMC to communicate with all devices to include CCTV Cameras (3EA), Microwave Radars (10EA), and 3 Ramp Meters.
